Antonio Andrade returns to the stage with his project
FIESTA FLAMENCA presenting his live CD titled “Noches de Amor”
and the successful stage production. “An excellent piece of cultural
glory”, “sheer pleasure” or “master of guitar”
are only a few critics’ verdicts of the production enjoying a celebrated
premiere in Seville. Guitar playing that is deeply personal and full of expression,
profound and powerful singing as well as contemporary, authentic and temperamental
dance are the trademarks of Antonio Andrade’s FIESTA FLAMENCA providing
the audience with an unadulterated, emotional and honest Flamenco performance.
In his program “Noches de Amor” (Nights of Love) Antonio attempts
to convey a little bit of his love and passion – the essence of his
life – to each individual in the audience.
Dreamy Flamenco ballads, temperamental guitar riffs,
a powerful rhythm and sensual dance duets lead the audience into the world
of Flamenco and the “Nights of Love”.
The pillars of the six-piece FIESTA FLAMENCA are Rosalia Moreno from Malaga,
one of Spain’s top Flamenco dancers, singer and percussionist Francisco
“Yiyi” Orozco from Barcelona, rhythm-genius Javier Prieto as well
as the dancer Luis de Luis and, of course, Antonio Andrade himself. Andrade
is accompanied by “special guest” Jazz saxophonist Sigi Finkel.
